This lot is for 4 items. I will describe them below. I am far better at breaking jewelry than making jewelry, so I am sure that someone in the Listia community is better with their hands than I am.

Item 1) Wire wrapped opal and pearl pendant. I am not sure what the metal is made of. The opal is kind of a trapezoid shape. The opal measures 10 by 10 mm at its widest points. A small pearl dangles under the opal. The pendant measures 1 5/8 of an inch long including the bale, and about an inch in width. I do not see any markings, it appears to be handmade. The back of the opal appears to look like a rock? Please see the 5th pic for a view of the back. In perfect shape, I just never wear it.

Item 2: Size 7 ring setting. It appears to be English in style to me. I am not sure what the metal is and it is not marked. 10 small bezel-set opals surround the place where a stone would be set. On either side of the shank is another small opal. This ring may have been dropped. One of the small opals feels like it is chipped and there is a scrape on the band. Well-made ring, appears older. I would not be surprised if this were silver. It would be beautiful with a variety of gemstones.

Item 3: a mangled CZ earring set in 925 silver. Shown in the 12th pic. Princess cut, measures 5 by 5 mm. Included in lot because it may be a nice choice to mount into the setting.

Item 4: I bought this a few years ago and it is beautiful. It deserves to be set and worn instead of sitting in a drawer. I bought this from bidz.com, the following is the information on the label. GENUINE OPAL TRIPLET, 1.20 ctw. cabochon cut 9x7 mm. It is very pretty with lots of blues, pinks, and greens flashing back.

the fiery opal is beautiful. whoever ends up with it I hope they remember opals are a soft stone and chip easily and also need to be oiled monthly.

The rock on the back of the pendants opal is a piece of black or dark material to make the colors in the opal pop. It's called a Doublet.
