Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble: “Live at Carnegie Hall”

Perfectly New!!

I bought this CD, ripped it, and then put it up for auction

Not a scratch on it.

Live at Carnegie Hall is a live Texas blues album by Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble, released on July 29, 1997 by Epic Records. The concert was recorded at New York City's Carnegie Hall on October 4, 1984, a day after Vaughan's thirtieth birthday, and was a benefit for the T.J. Martell Foundation. Special guests included drummer George Rains, Dr. John on keyboards, the Roomful of Blues horn section, brother Jimmie Vaughan on guitar, and vocalist Angela Strehli. This was the first and only time in the band's history that the trio was expanded. The ensemble wore custom-tailored mariachi suits and a special stage set was designed, complete with drum and horn risers.[1]

Agreed!

I only just discovered him a couple of years before he died, seems like that happens with me often.

Most of my favorite artists are dead :(

Hey! I just sent some x-stitch fabric to you! Oh no-my secret is out-now you know what I did with my hands when I learned to "just say no..." Cheap Trick is another band that can drag me right back to my carefree years in about 4 bars! I cannot believe most of the garbage that passes for music these days! God I sound old!And I've spent a fortune replacing most of my vinyl-not buying another format again no matter what so the c.d. better be here to stay.. Almost got everything that mattered replaced-got about 20 to go.

I hate to tell you this, but CDs are already on their way out. Digital Mp3 files are the best !!! I've got all the music I own on a flash drive and it plugs in to my car stereo. Check it out, You'll love it. BTW I love Cheap Trick too, but my kids have never heard of it. You don't know how good it is to know that someone else has heard of them too !!!

AAARGH!!!! Couldn't you be a bud and LIE TO ME!!! No more techno crap for music-My technologically impaired brain cannot do it again!! My boys are between 31&24 and they all pick on me mercilessly for what they call " a Cheap Trick Issue' but they did replace most of it for Mom's day so I let them pick! Now if they start sniping about my Tesla we may need family counciling or a referee! There are some things we as parents are allowed to hold sacred!! If you ever need a passive/agressive gesture just sit the darlings down and make them listen!!

Yep. Well, you're gonna like my auctions them. I have converted all the CDs I have collected over the years into Mp3 files on my laptop, and It seems we have the same musical taste. So now I'm gonna auction them all on Listia - that's the whole reason I joined !!! Gotta go through them and make sure they still work good, though. So they'll be popping up over time.

I have heard of Montrose, but I'm not sure if I know their music. They must not have made it too big in the mainstream.

No I don't think Montrose was ever realy mainstream-which is probably why they have never got rereleased-but I did get a burned copy of one of their albums &I hope sooner or later to find the other. It is good to have a goal! I finally got Mott The Hoople so I guess anything is possible
