It's not oven proof. I'll check on the manufacturer when I get home from school. I am working on my associates degree, and I get home in about an hour.

It is a jar that was given to mine, it looks like a cookie jar or maybe just something to keep trinkets in... its really up to you what you want to use it for. Don't know that it was manufactured or privately made

It is about 8 in. in diameter. and about six in. deep. It is kinda heavy cuz it is ceramic.
