The listing, Godzilla figure has ended.
Almost 7" h, plastic. Close-up of tail to show tail glued together because it kept coming off--has lasted a long time, too! Will ship Saturday after auction ends. Thanks for viewing!
Questions & Comments
Very vintage I must say... You don't run across these anymore at any type of toy store. What year would you say you acquired this? Hope I win!
The bottom of the foot does reveal when it was manufactured (2006) and this was about the time I bought him quite a bit to make a 7-year old happy. But, he's no longer a fan. He is keeping a much larger figure for a souvenir--he will never make me list that one for sure! From your profile pic, you look a few years older than him--did you play with Godzilla toys, too?
Yes, very secured with a bit of Gorilla glue and with the excess scraped off. I don't remember when we glued it, but that was a while back. I'd paint it, too, but don't have the time to find the matching color. I presume model paint or acrylic paint can cover it. Thanks for the interest and good luck!
Oh wow I figured this would be from the 90's or before that at least but I'm actually 20 years old lol and I never got to have one as a kid but did enjoy a good Godzilla film..! I live with some roommates and I wanna add the Godzilla figure to a decorative collage on our wall with a bunch of retro toys...our setup is too boring so we want something nostalgic/ artistic. I buy old toys mainly for the collectors value not because I want to play with them as you can see my interest in painting the tail...thanks for the tips though I wasn't sure which paint to use!
Heh, heh, I figured that you wouldn't be playing with it. Will be adding an update(s) after searching around about this toy figure. Thanks again for the interest!
That's good, I'm not one to lean toys towards any specific gender. Majority of culture/society, of course, would probably disagree. Glad you like! Thanks!
Yes, at bottom of foot you'll see the manufacturer's info. Guam no longer has such a store:( , but I no longer need to purchase like toys for my boys. Thanks for noticing!
Its out in the western Pacific ocean. I'd recommend 'googling' about Guam^-^ and you'll see it on a map. Maybe if you know the Mariana's Trench, you may have an idea of where Guam is, which is right next to it! As for jokes, some (even mainland politics) have used the island at the butt of jokes, so I understand. Glad your curious!
