I'm not listing this in books because it is so much more than a book. This listing is for one Storey Publishing Bulletin on growing and using scented geraniums. It covers the lore and classifications of scented geraniums, as well as how to care for them, and how to propagate them.

There are twelve main types of scented geranium featured, and the end of the book has recipes and instructions for making potpourri, pressed flowers, paper, and even jelly and cake.

The book is 32 pages long and is in good condition. There are no markings to the cover or the pages, save for a price sticker on the front cover (clearly visible in the photo). There is a hole punched through the top of the book, which makes me think that at one time it was a store copy and not intended for sale. It does not affect the way the book reads in any way.

Shipping is free or you can meet me to collect this. The only reason I am getting rid of it is because I have a duplicate copy. It is an invaluable book to any keen gardener, and will be a great asset for those who are trying to get back to a more natural way of doing things.

Hi, I've not seen anything done w/plastic water bottles, but I'd definitely try it! I live extremely rurally and the closest city is over an hour away. So, we don't get much new info out here..like living in the 1940's hahhaaa. K :)

Have a look on eBay for 'water spikes.' I do understand -- we have to travel 12 miles to a Walmart and 9 miles to a McDonalds -- THAT'S rural LOL

hahahhaa! The only (general type) store around here is WalMart, it's about 12 miles and it's an original (VERY TINY) and there's a McD's across the road (they seem to be everywhere!). There is another town about 25 mins away and they have BK, Wendys, a small supermarket and of course, WalMar, but that one is pretty big, even has a supermarket in itt! hahhahaa (can't seem to get a way from them!) K :)

Hi, I haven't tried them, but I've seen them. I worried they might be too top heavy and topple over/shatter. I had several (that's an understatement!) and thought, if the dogs bump them what would the outcome be? Not that all the dogs are rambunctious, but the 18 mnth old lab is! hahhahaa. Have you had good luck w/aquaglobes? Thank you, Kate :)

I've used the aquaglobes with moderate success. You're right, you do have to be careful how you place them! A similar thing can be made with a plastic water bottle -- have you seen those?
