Description

The listing, EYE - ATC has ended.

Hello
I started making ATC's in 2005. The ones I am offering up are originals that I had in my collection and now ready to part with in hopes that they go to someone who likes small pieces of artist created work and at a fraction of what large art would cost.

Thanks for looking and check out my other ATC's to which i will be adding more in the future. Jo

I would love to know more about each card. i.e. Acrylic, Mixed Media, and did you make all of these or are they from other artist? I make and collect! :) Thanks Jo

Hi - They are all mine... Some i do part digitally and add to them.. like the type in some cases i add to the main image. Mixed Media - oh sure - and I use whatever suits mymood at the time i am making them. OH i have a huge collection of cards from artists all over the world... but caution.. it is addictive and I have spent HUNDREDS of dollars on them. If I found an artist I liked, I would purchase more from them, I became friends with some of them because of my purchases... which is a neat thing. The reason I started actually was because I too wanted some of that artwork... ATC standing for artists trading Cards... well I decided i wasnt going to trade but was going to buy and sell outright.. Thinking why should others have all the goodies LOL... so now i have as i said tons of other peoples work. I have been asked to make certain cards for people as well... such as their pet, etc.
I even made one of an OX the hairy ones with curved horns for a man who collected that theme. Stay with it.. it is a lot of fun creating SMALL piecex of art and collecting same. Good Luck. Jo

I purchased many on Ebay---and since i started in 2005.. that was awhile back.
I haven't looked at ATC's on ebay so not sure what they are going for these days, or what is available. I like the foreign ones since that is where they originated so seems they have a good grasp on atcs.... I put mine in binders that are made for collecting baseball cards and they hold 4 to a page. nice si ze and convenient too to flip thru.

They are mini scrabble pieces that i got in some kit... wish there were more.
Not sure where you get them. And YES, many of my cards are 3D... which many out there are not... but i find that things i have in all my art supplies work out well on a card. I figure, there are not pat rules for what you as an artist do to make a card. I draw some and others i make in mixed media - I can see why you were drawn ( no pun intended) to the eye one considering your own eye card... : ) nice. any questions I will try to answer... Jo

Wow! I couldn't imagine having that many cards, i just started collecting, I honestly don't think i would've been introduced to ATC as where i live in California art just isnt to popular in my community i wish it were.. i like to do things to encourage art amoung others here
