Description

The listing, Guard Cat - ATC ACEO has ended.

Hello
I started making ATC's in 2005. The ones I am offering up are originals that I had in my collection and now ready to part with in hopes that they go to someone who likes small pieces of artist created work and at a fraction of what large art would cost.

Thanks for looking and check out my other ATC's to which i will be adding more in the future. Jo

I hear ya. I have a few on etsy as well, but I'm considering moving them to my website eventually. Your right ebay charges too much. A couple of the cards from this month that I made were actually started by my two year old and I made them into something just like you had done :) It's a nice break from my normal work.

Well i have two shops on Etsy but there is so much competition there that even tho it is cheap it is hard to compete. I do wool feltings and have many of my works in a specialty shop in the downtown area of the yuppie town where my daughter and sil and grandson lived before moving to wine country further out and bought a home that could accommodate me in my old age. So, I live up above the converted garage and have two rooms bath and balcony. now there is a baby girl who just turned 1 in the house since i moved here so it is nice being near my family. that is cool about your son. Kids are so neat. my other grandson is 11 and gone into the tween stages which sure make a difference in his funny loving attitude prior to now LOL.. i still love him of course but wow what a change. Wouldnt it be nice if our work would sell somewhere for money... i just dont feel like putting up with Ebay stuff. Listia at least is easy for listing compared to other sites.. Maybe i should put some ATC on Tophatter.. Its a thought ...... have a nice Sunday Jo

Odd - it says i didnt reply back to you but i know i did LOL unless it just didnt take or something. but Thanks so much again... your work reminds me of what i did when i would babysit and a child got bored... they would color a page at random and then i would make it into something. I posted more the night before - just hope i get enuf so i can put bids on things... i dont have all that many and i keep getting overbid. Thanks again and much luck to you also Rhonda... Jo

Thank you so much.- thought I would try this site since so many of the others don't seem to work too well... Ebay, I did a lot on but the prices are too high to list and sell... Etsy there is so much competition.... Tophatter you have so many rules to get on. I could use the money but parting with some of my things and being able to bid on something I may want is ok too. jo

I was recently introduced to a place called yardsellr.com . There are absolutely no fees and way less competition. A friend said they do very well there and have not done well on etsy because of the competition. I put a card there today just to see what happens. I do have a local gallery well I sell my work and I do commissions but it's just so hard to make a living these days :)

Well I went there and thought it looked interesting.. they do take a % of your selling price.. not sure what it is tho BUT I spent a good 6 hours going back and forth with them and trying different things OMG - you cant post without a photo.. not that i would -- BUT no matter what i tried or what they suggested for some reason... i could NOT get ANY photos to load... i even made them smaller!!! I kinda gave up... They had me change from Firefox to Chrome... and THAT didnt work.. so i dont know..... i told them i really wanted to use their site but noone there could help me... go figure

I went trough the same difficulties the first day. The yardsellr doesn't take a percentage of your selling price as far as I can tell. They take that from your buyer instead of you. How I upload pictures there the best is by email. When you go to the uploader, in the top right it says use this email to send images. Just email them to that address and when you go to post they will be in the system. This is the fastest way I've found to do it. Hope that helps! If you have any more questions just let me know :)
