Comes with a usb cable and car charger. Does cost 50 to activate.

So i was looking on the web for more info to give you guys, but this product is discontinued. But i dont think that means it doesnt work. i think they just dont sell them anymore. im not sure. Let me know if you can find anything else out. ty

I think $5 is fair for shipping. Does it power on when you plug it up? The $50 is probably what it costs to update the road map. My husband has one and that's what it cost him to update it. Please don't remove the listing. I'll bid as long as it powers on.

ty i thought so too. yes the garmin turns on it just wont pass the original screen because there are no maps on it. i think thats what it said but im not sure. and i couldnt find where it said that since it is now discontinued. thats why i plugged it in so that people would see it comes on

i was just at Garmin nuvi site. 205 is discontinued, , but the updates and traffic function are free, nowhere in the manual does it say anything about a fee to activate ??? The fee of $5.00 is to much that is the cost of a small flat rate box, when a padded envelope cost s much less to ship with

i know i updated it saying that its discontinued, no matter what I've been sending its always cost me 5-7. I just mailed off a movie in a padded envelope it cost me 6.10. So i didn't think that was too unfair. But i think I'm just going to take it off cause its discontinued. dont want bad reviews for posting or sending things that dont work

does it have the car / cig lighter plug ? if so go to car and plug in and see if it then starts up it will power up to a- agree window- and then will go into location /find/ locating sats. mode if you get to this stage you have a working system it is old and maps will be old but should work in most situations

5 bux is cheap for shipping $4.95 for small flat rate box and $3.50 gallon of gas to usps and home is cheap so ya whinner shut the heck up
