It's about 6 inches across. This one comes with a built-in led light.

what is the magnification for this one? and for my stupid question so the light is under the mirror and all you do is press the mirror to turn on the light i assume.?

It's 10x magnification. It takes two button cell batteries (the little ones that look like buttons; there are some included, apparently, but I guess they've run out...It was a clearance item, haha) and there's a button on the side to push to turn on the little led light at the bottom of the mirror. I hope that helps!
