I bought these for my Dell computer when my hard drive crashed, but changed my mind and just bought a new computer .......anyhow, these were guaranteed to work by the person I bought them from on Amazon.

I havent tested them. The person I got them from on Amazon tested them, and wiped them clean. So anyone would have to install a new OS on them before they can be used. I'll see if I can find my purchase on Amazon and quote what he wrote.
