Description

The listing, Art Deco- Roaring 20's Jeweled Brooch has ended.

Beautiful Antique Art Deco Piece. Photos don't show its depth, texture and beauty. Huge glass faceted cabochan with two paste stone accents. I think this is mounted in brass and does have a well aged patina. Strong deco lines and accent details. Reverse has a tuck under clasp as fold overs were not invented yet. About 2.5" long 1.5" wide
You won't be disappointed, this is very beautiful but I could not get it to photograph without making it look very golden and it is very antique with a lovely patina.
I decided to add the more golden look photos because it shows more details. The actual item is colored somewhere between the darker and lighter. The lighter does not show much of the darkened patina. But the darker photos do not show how lovely this piece truly is- its beautiful, Thank you for looking, Cindy

i read where you put jewelry under a white large plastic bowl with a hole cut in it for the camera lens, the refraction picks up the real colors of the jewelry. I bought the bowl but they used it for popcorn...lol.

I love Popcorn! You can build light boxes too but I never seem to find the time.

Putting it on a white sheet or a black sheet and then taking the pictures helps get clearer pictures as well. The color to use depends on the true colors of the item. The solid color of either one helps the camera focus on the item. Usually with a back round that isn't a solid neutral color the camera doesn't know what to focus on. It is all over the place. Even with really good camera's. Also if you don't have a good close up setting it is better to take a picture on an auto setting that is clear, even if it is further away. I absolutely love this!! Fanning, watching, and bidding!
