no just lay them on top of the ground they willl take off. pot size makes a difference in the plant.

Just wanted to let you know I am F@W I absolutly love these plants and they are extremly easy to grow even for the person who has a brown thumb Just lay them on top of the dirt and away they'll go Soon you will have 100's of babies for yourself Just hope this helps anyone who needed to know
