The listing, Petrified Wood - 1 piece (4" x 2 1/2" x 1 1/4") has ended.

Very interesting piece of Petrified Wood. There are small quartz crystals in what looks like bark below an indeption where there is another piece of darker stone bark embedded in a indetentation in the piece. Stone weighs 7.4 oz (or 211 grams).

It came out of a 5 acre lake bed that went dry for the first time in over 100+ years in 2011 in East Texas, Van Zandt County. The lake is on the Shady Oaks Ranch about 7 miles NW of Canton, TX. Hope that helps. ALSO...would ship for FREE if bidding goes over 500 credits.
