The listing, Stylised 60s Lady of Fatima Image, Brass on Wood has ended.
Very unusual depiction of the Lady of Fatima, in the style of the early 60s.
The image is made of hollow brass. The words read, "Em Fatima rezei por ti" (in Fatima I prayed for you) and there's also a small paper sticker with "Fatima" at the base.
The wood looks to be a form of oak, and I'm almost certain it's Holly Oak (in Portuguese, 'Azinheira' -- see pic 5, which shows the base of another Fatima image with many elements in common with this one).
There's no telling with items as old as this if the wood may have come from the tree above which the apparitions took place, and which has entirely disappeared twig by twig, but it's a strong possibility.
