It's a necklace, most necklaces are 7inches to 9 inches, unless they are the long ones or wrap around.

Oh I always thought most necklaces are 16" choker & up. The standard I thought was 18". I do know for sure that the average bracelet is 6 3/4" to 9" with a very few exceptions.

Thanks, I didn't know that, my best friend owns a jewelry store..that's what she told me long time ago, I could be wrong, she said 7 1/2 inches which makes it 15 to 16 inches when open, maybe that's what I was saying. Thanks for the information on the bracelet.
