Could I ask you what material you use to tumble the rocks with,to get the shine??
I have a tumbler but the grit doesn't do a good job..

I buy my grits from Lortone. There are 4, coarse grind, medium grind, pre-polish, and polish. Each one takes 7 days. There are some rocks that won't shine, more of a matte finish. Most do get shiney. You can buy the grit packages online/ebay, ect. Or at a rock shop/craft store. Hope this helps.
