The listing, Palm Pre Touch screen cell phone Verizon has ended.
This is Verizon Palm Pre. The Palm Pre is the only phone that is still capable of unlimited hotspot. Palm uses its own network for this. Verizon now charges data for phone hotspotting. I am getting rid of this phone because I got another phone. This phone does not have android but the palm os. Not too much difference as far as apps.
I forgot to mention that I have the USB computer/wall charger for this phone. I do not have the car charger. This phone works and wasn't reported stolen or anything. This was my personal phone. This phone doesn't use a sim card. When I switched phone carriers my carrier uses sim cards.
This is my first auction and really didn't know the value of credits so I didn't want to risk having to "pay" out of pocket to ship in case the final bid amount doesn't cover shipping value.
two questions....do I need smart phone package with this with verizon and how is the battery life? I really dont want to have to buy a new battery Thanks
Yes, you will need a smartphone package to use this phone with Verizon. I don't know about other phone carriers though. The battery is only a few months old as it was recently replaced. Like all smartphones, the battery only lasts about 8 hours with regular email checking and facebooking. If you are using the phone to provide a hotspot it sucks the battery dry superfast. I usually kept a charger at my desk at work and just kept it on the charger. Low battery life is pretty standard with smartphones though and isn't unique to this phone.
Thank you for the tip. I will take it under advisement on a later auction. This auction, however, does not offer free shipping. Shipping is $5 flat rate which includes bubble packaging, first-class shipping, and delivery confirmation. That prices out to $4.50 cent. My paypal charges me a 45 cent surcharge just to accept the money. I make a whopping 5 cent off shipping. Shipping protects me from losing money due to low bids.
no you didn't offend me. These items that I am placing on here are things I would otherwise have linger around my house and eventually throw away. I found this site and thought it would be a cool way to get some things and clear my house out. So the points kinda matter and then they kinda don't. Yesterday I had a cellphone auction for over 15K points. That shocked me because I wasn't expecting to get over 100 credits for it really.
yes i love this site! and wait til this one ends, you will get lots of credits, people alaways look for things like these. people always wait til the last min to bid, thats the wa of watching like a hawk, lol, make sure they get it, im sure i wont get this one, but i like it, my sis n law has one, anything lying around the house like this, list it, you will be surprised!!!!
thanks for the advice. I have a number of things in my house collecting dust. I am thinking of listing a chocolate fountain from when I did free church decorations and what not. I tried listing high-end name brand stuff but it was just too much work. Easier to re-gift some stuff then to list it on here
