Description

The listing, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone True 1st Edition 49th Printing No Dust Cover has ended.

Yes, this is a true 100% authentic 1st American Edition 49th Printing of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.

Why am I giving it away ...yeah, I know that's the next thought, so I'll give it to you straight.

1. I have another one from England that is a 1st/4th of Philosophers Stone.

2. This does not have a great deal of monetary value. About face value. Doesn't mean it won't go up as the years go by.

3. EVERYONE should have the opportunity to read this story. It is truly a worldwide phenomenon.

4. No dust cover, just the book.

5. I know there is some rabid Harry Potter fan out there who would never be able to afford or even find a 1st Edition regardless of printing number and I want you to have that opportunity.

What to look for in a first edition: The cover of the book should have a red spine and purple boards. The boards should have a diamond pattern on them.

It will say 1st American Edition and should NOT be printed after the year 2000 (which this one is ...printed in the year 2000).

I am not claiming that the book is rare or exceptionally valuable, but it is a 1st edition and if you collect Harry Potter, this is a really nice addition.

Good luck, happy bidding.
