Description

The listing, Canna Lili has ended.

I'm not sure why the pic keeps uploading sideways, but this is a beautiful, healthy canna lili plant. They grow amazingly well in southern climates and do not take much maintenance at all. In fact, they have taken over a large part of our back yard with no interference from us. Almost every year I dig a bunch up and give them away to neighbors because they do spread pretty quickly and I have to tame them :) In the (sideways) pic you see yellow ones, but there are some red in there as well. I'm not sure which one you'll get, but it will most likely be yellow. I will not ship to Hawaii or California since plant importation rules there are pretty strict. This is the first plant auction I've listed, but I've done some research on how to ship plants, so I think it should be fine through the mail, especially since these are so hardy. I will send a couple plants in this package. Happy bidding!

oops-I just read that you do not ship to California which is where I live-let's hope someone else bids higher. Let me check the plant regulations for my area of California as I live in the Desert.

I never thought about the plant restrictions as we used to order from nurseries across the states but did not realize that they were all approved Since agriculture is such an integral part of our economy in this state the rules are awfully strict. I should have remembered all the headaches we had when we were having gifts sent from Ireland. Fish and Wildlife was not even going to allow a synthetic boa!

I just checked with Listia to see if I can withdraw my bid. I apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause. If these were seeds there would be no problem-but live plants-ah well!

No problem! I'm curious to see if they will let you withdraw it. If not, maybe it won't be a problem.... others may bid more. I hope they will b/c since I'll probably have to overnight it, the shipping will cost me some dough! :) Sorry I can't ship it to you!

You won't have to over night ship. Just make sure you wrap some wet paper towels around it them put in zip lock bag or Saran wrap if too big. If you ship it on a Saturday or Monday they will be fine. Ive shipped several plants and they always arrived in great condition. Hope this helps you. If I wasn't overwhelmed with these I would be bidding, lol! I just dug up about 50 plants and gave them to the neighbors. They are really beautiful plants and so easy to grow.

They really are easy... I think you could just lay the plant on the ground without actually planting it and it would find a way to flourish :) Thanks for the tips!
