Thank you so much. Misery loves company, but I don't want to be that kind of company. There is just too much sadness in the world. If I'm not able to contribute to m as long someone's day better, I refuse to assist in making it worse. Have an outstanding day! :)
Thank you so much ma'am. As with any auction I've ever listed the winner receives much more than just the listing. Thank you for taking the time to say something kind. :)
Best of luck with your auction. I have my own view on what the coin is worth but it's just my opinion so I'll keep it to myself. Nobody is being asked to actually pay $2,000. It's a genuine coin and popular with collectors, you'll do fine. I have much more of a problem with the hundreds of Chinese fakes being openly peddled here for 1INK and $6 "shipping" contrary to US law. Why isn't anyone complaining about THOSE auctions?
I did add the page from the coin collectors book. The Red Book is not just any book, it sets the standard for numismatists around the world. Therefore, I have taken a photo and included it for any naysayers that may want to refute of devalue the coin.
CDN is for dealers or high dollar investor members only, I’m not either of the two. You and Brittany are the big money wheeler dealers, guess this is why you’ve chose to trade on Listia.
I hadn't thought about that, hadn't been on Listia for some time. Forgot about the little things that the hecklers and haters do to try ending your auction. Thank you so much for the heads. :)
I see it yeah Cason city is rare. True Story Jesse James robbed the bank and money was never found. He lived in MO. So they are rare if that in a true minted coin. Get it graded.
If it's minted C then you have something. I had tons of them included some gold ones and graded. Only get what someone will pay you. I sold alot of them just above silver price at the time around $15. Send it off and get it graded doesn't cost much if it doesn't sell.
chas, there were no gold morgan dollars. the mint mark for carson city is CC. this one has no mint mark, so it is from the Philadelphia mint. in the 1995 red book, there is a warning that the mint marks might have been removed to increase it`s value. the ( C ) on the page above denotes that the coin should be authenticated and to beware of the mint mark being altered or removed. i don`t see a 2,000 dollar value. but the 3500 dollar value is for a coin with a ms-60 grade.
Vinnypv You are not just arrogant. You are d****d rude to have the nerve to insinuate I removed the mint mark from that coin. Even if the coin is not worth $2000, my auction my winner will not be disappointed. See, Hear, Speak No Evil...try it!
This is a really unique looking coin. My father also sells on Ebay. I bet these coins would sell for a lot on a site like that. Great auction and I fanned you.
Thank you. I may have purchased some of your father’s coins. I'm always purchasing. If you don't feel comfortable saying his eBay name on here, or it may not be allowed. Please send me a message and tell me his name. Looking forward to hearing from you. Thank you
Thank you. I have a Buddha pendant that depicts see, hear, speak no evil. I try to live by that. Those nasty little gremlins don’t even bother to read feedback, they just try to wreak havoc. It will be their loss because I haven’t been on Listia for a while, school kicking my butt. :) However, my auction winners always received a lot more than what they won. If they’d taken the time to read my feedback instead of trying to be the serpent in Eden they would have known.
Everyone wants to know why don't just sell and get cash for it - since that is what everyone is thinking. You can easily get 100,000 XNK by selling 4/$100 walmart cards on this site. Just the obvious and please don't tell me you want to help the less fortunate here on listia. thank you
Everyone or you? However I have a few of the same year so decided to place one on Listia. I don’t want a $100 gift card from Walmart, I want xnk. I don’t feel the people on Listia are less fortunate. As for trying to tell you, I wasn’t, you are trying to tell me Listia people are less fortunate! And don’t be a gremlin and insult me, then have the audacity to say thank you.
This is not even close to being worth what you are saying it is, and I guess it's "buyer beware"? The coin grades to VF or on the outside XF. It's worth about $50-$75. AU 1901 Morgans are selling in the $300 range on eBay, for comparison. Yours does not grade that high. Claims like yours make it difficult for the rest of us to sell on Listia.
My photos as I said previously must not be very good, but no matter if it isn’t your auction keep it moving! And if you don’t want to bid, keep it moving! I've seen a lot of Gremlins on Listia that troll other people's auctions looking for something to do with their menial lives, but the good people outweigh the Gremlins. Gremlin, keep it moving!!
Agree with drew127 I put Estimate price on an item and Listia Remove my listing on netgear wireless router anyone can complain that your selling for cash not xnk
It's a shame we must even think about about those things when innocently trading. But, I'm not a gremlin with malice intent. I will never cheat anyone, even if they've cheatedor wronged me. If it means less for me to make someone feel whole, even if unfair, I'm okay with that. God is my whole, and he's gives me what he wants me to have. Thank you for the assistance, much appreciated. :)
Yes, greysheet is supposed to be dealer prices and wholesale. And yes this is a very tough date coin. 2000 is a super high estimate bc redbook is high, for one, and secondly I'm not sure how you are grading this coin but it looks like a solid vf+ detail wise. I'll be bidding. I dont mean to write anything mean but maybe you should be careful with money estimates unless it was actually graded. Pcgs price guide for a graded problem free vf is 110+. Still a great piece!!! Good luck.
I must have taken really bad photos, got to stop using my old IPhone or learn how to use it. I am going to post two more coins to be included with this auction. I don’t know if I can list them in the title, but I’ll try. Thank you for the kindness. :)
