I created this 7 1/2" long bracelet with 4mm genuine Hematite beads, accented by 4mm pink opalite beads and three 10mm genuine Hematite oval beads. It is strung on nylon coated stainless steel beading wire for extra strength & security and has a toggle closure!

The refractive properties of the opalite catch ambient light and produce hints of a soft yellow gleam. In certain lighting conditions, you'll also notice a touch of blue. I scanned the bracelet on two different colored backgrounds to try to show this effect.

Metaphysically, hematite is said to inspire inner life and help to keep inward peace. Called the "stone of mental mastery," many believe it to aid clarity, balance, calm and reason, thus making it a grounding stone. It is also said to transform negativity into love. For this reason, it assists in the creation of peaceful, loving relationships. Hematite also is believed to enhance memory and intellect, strengthen the circulatory system and help in the treatment of blood and kidney disorders.
