This can be used for short haired cats. I would recommend something stronger for the long haired variety.

Nice to use when you have multiple cats and don't want to spend the money on flea spot-ons. I used this for years on my cat and it worked great! I'm giving it away because I no longer have a cat and decided not to get another at this time.

It has a pull up spout and prevents fleas, ticks and lice. This does not prevent and kill the entire flea cycle, just adults. And it works for 7 days. What I did was bathe my cat every weekend then put this on her after she dried. Cats need to get the dander off of them anyway. The dander creates allergies, not the pet itself.

I did use very little, so this container is about full, just sitting.
