33" long from shoulder to bottom of dress and it wont fix around my husbands 36" chest. We tried to pull it down but it wouldnt go down.

It will definitely be above your knee, but to find out how high would be very difficult. The dress is 33" from shoulder to bottom so measure from your shoulder to your knees and see how much distance off it is from the dress. Of course when we measured we didn't have the dress in a model so we're probably an inch or two too long.
