The listing, RARE! AUTHER OF WUTHERING HEIGHTS, THE PROFESSOR, VILLETTE, AND JANE EYRE, CHARLOTTE BRONTE!!! has ended.

This is an amazing piece of history, straight from England.
English author Charlotte Bronte was raised in a strict Anglican home by her clergyman father and a religious aunt after her mother and two eldest siblings died. Charlotte published her first novel, Jane Eyre, in 1847 under the manly pseudonym Currer Bell. Though controversial in its criticisms,
The book was an immediate hit. She followed the success with Shirley in 1848 and Vilette in 1853.

Profile:
Writer. Born April 21, 1816 in Yorkshire, England. Said to be the most dominant and ambitious of the Brontes, Charlotte was raised in a strict Anglican home by her clergyman father and a religious aunt after her mother and two eldest siblings died. She and her sister Emily attended the Clergy Daughter's School at Cowan Bridge, but were largely educated at home. Though she tried to earn a living as both a governess and a teacher, Charlotte missed her sisters and eventually returned home.
A writer all her life, Charlotte published her first novel, Jane Eyre, in 1847 under the manly pseudonym Currer Bell. Though controversial in its criticism of society's treatment of impoverished women, the book was an immediate hit. She followed the success with Shirley in 1848 and Vilette in 1853.

The deaths of the Bronte siblings are almost as notable as their literary legacy. Her brother, Branwell, and Emily died in 1848, and Anne died the following year. In 1854, Charlotte married Arthur Bell Nicholls, but died the following year during her pregnancy. The first novel she ever wrote, The Professor, was published posthumously in 1857. It is believed she died by choice.

Im just so glad i had the chance to come here. First of all it literally saved my life. The ERs down in MS wouldnt accept me because i didnt have insurance (pay is really low down there compared to here, so we couldnt afford it). And also because i wasnt showing any outward signs that i was dying...which in fact i kinda was, i was VERY pale. But i guess they didnt notice. Anyway, as soon as we moved here and my husband got insurance, my first visit to the doctor was life changing! My docs nurse said i was to pale and tested my blood. My hemoglobin was at 5 instead of the normal 12 to 15. She rushed me to the ER, and by the time i got there i was in heart failure. They gave me 5 pints of blood and saved my life! We moved here because my mom had just moved here for a man, and i knew i was dying and needed help, and i knew we could make more money here. It saved me...GOD saved me. I have a whole new outlook on life. I understand why we are here now. I am meant to do the most good i can, and gain the most knowledge i can before my time. Its that simple. So if i had never come here, i wouldnt still be here, and i wouldnt have been able to learn about the culture up here, which i feel completely blessed to have learned!

LOL! OH is rough, eh?

Just not what I am used to. Most of the people are great! It just seems they were raised really different from us down south. Please know everyone, i didnt mean any disrespect. What i do love about it here is there are lots more people here. So there are also a tons more resources we dont have back south. Like better health opportunities, and more places like food banks and church charities that help people in dire situations with their bills, and even places where people donate cars for those in need!
It all comes down to culture i think. I just never knew there would be such a difference in states. At first it felt like i was in a different country! Im used to waving at everyone...lol, They thought i was nuts here until i learned to keep my hand in the car!! Another example is its harder for people to trust you here. My husband and I, and my mom have been here for just over three years now, and people are just now beginning to trust us and realize we are genuine. We offer help to people and they are scared to accept it and wondering what we want in return. I was taught that you give things to people in need if you can, and you dont expect anything in return. Its in the bible....

Lol, i would love to if i could get rid of my own! Lol, i cant say that..lol, i love mine to darn much. They can be hard to handle some times, but i dont think any family is perfect. But we have God first and foremost, and then compassion, and love, so i think ive got it made. I realized when i moved from MS to OH, that i actually had a fairy tale childhood compared to most people up here. its just a completely different dynamic here. I feel really sad for some of them, they dont know the deepness of love that i had my whole life. I do miss good ole Mississippi, and plan on moving back in a year or so.

Im not real sure, it seems to be a bit big for a bookmark, but maybe in England they are that big! lol My old friend of 12 years, Angie sent it to me from Amsterdam England, and were no longer friends thanks to her new husband not wanting her to be friends with an "American".
