The listing, SONY E-READER PRS-505 has ended.

This sone E-Reader is in EXCELLENT condition! I ended up winning two of them and decided to list this one instead of it sitting here collecting dust. It comes with a usb cord (it also uses a dc 5.2v adapter, but didn't come with one. I bought my own but am using it on the newer one, which didn't come with one either). You can purchase one on Amazon -for under $6 http://www.amazon.com/Charger-Reader-Notebook-Adapter-Battery/dp/B00435J7DO/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1340123147&sr=1-1&keywords=sony+prs505+ereader+5.2v+dc+adapter! This also come with a leather magnetic sleeve to protect it which retails for $45!!!!

I have set it back to factory default. It can also use an SD card to store extra books on it!

thank you, fanned you back. It works really well. Even better with an SD card so you don't clog it up with books. I load 2-3 books at a time to keep more free space.

Does this also come with the software? I read a review somewhere that you needed software for your computer in order to upload the books from your computer to the e-reader. :D

No, there's no software with this. You download the Sony Reader for PC and when you plug in the usb to the unit and the pc, it will automatically pull up the pc reader. It also has a tab for the 'store' to buy books. You then d/l the books either to the pc, reader or sd card.
