These are perfect for jewelry making! The metal is probably about 24 gauge and is easy to bend with jewelry pliers, yet sturdy and not "soft" so they will bend when you don't want them to! They are bright silver and made from lead-free metal. I do not believe they are silver plated, but they look great and probably won't tarnish.

Some of these are slightly bent -- this is how I arrived, although I did not include any that are badly bent. Still perfectly usable ...I counted out 40 and added extra make sure they didn't come out short.
