this printer is a HP DeskJet 340. it runs on a battery in case of no power. it has a built-in charger that will charge the battery whenever it is plugged in,whether it is turned on or not.according to the person I bought it from it has had very little use.I have not used it since the plug will not fit my computer.I no longer need this as I have a newer printer that DOES fit my computer.since I have not used this printer I cannot guarantee it.it is given AS IS.I plugged it in. it turns on, the paper feeds normally, the ink cartridge goes to the center when the change button is pushed,so it can be changed.I cannot test its printing because It will not plug into my 'puter Thanks for looking @ my auction & Happy Bidding

sorry, I answered the wrong auction.the power supply plugs into the wall. the printer also has a battery for when there is no power. the battery charges as long as it is plugged into the wall.

will check on shipping. look @ the pictures.they show both ends of the cord.1 end plugs into a regular wall outlet & the other .end plugs into your computer,monitor or whatever else will accept that plug. thank you for bidding.
