Oh, yeah, I can't wait for RTR. M13 scares me, what with potential loss of many cards I enjoy using.

Ravnica was fun as hell, though. I hope they reprint Eternal Witness and Remand.

Actually, these make a for a great EDH deck, with Tolsimir Wolfblood as the general. Run things like Glorious Anthem, Gaea's anthem, Doubling Season, Paralell Lives, Intangible Virtue, it makes for a great deck, even if it can be over $1K when finely tuned.

Right now, I'm running a Lyzolda, The blood Witch Graveyard/sacrifical deck, and Sigarda G/W Goodstuff(I sit there doing nothing and all of a sudden have 80 mana). Honestly, ever since we started playing EDH, I enjoy it more than FNM Standard.

I play Standard format competitively, and Planechase cards aren't Legal. it's just Scars block, M12, and Innistrad block.

I played Planechase with EDH, I bought all of the Planechase 2012 decks. It's pretty boring, honestly.

there are other ways to play magic besides standard rules and edh. just use your imagination.
i was going to play with community deck in the center of the playing field for all players to draw from. have u ever played lightning? play all lands in your hand then draw that many cards. really works when u have the land sweepers cards from kamigawa.

I use the 2 headed Dragon format for the on line game, like you said - There are lots of ways to to play, Its A great Game~!

the stores just want to make money with their standard tournys. they would make alot more if they allowed players to use what they want in their decks and put up a cash prize. i got 6 packs of avacyn restored at the prerelease party and i paid $25. i won a pack. but there was nothing good in them except 1 card. i think the innistrad block isn't the greatest. i fell like i got ripped off. luckily close by me is a used video game store that has magic cards for $3.49. i miss the days when i could get them for $2.50. sorry for rambling. i just don't have anyone to talk about magic with. i play by myself when i build a new deck..

the kids at the local store are to young to just come over for a few hours without their parent's being concerned about what a 35 year old going to do to them.

with some of the new Avacyn cards like " Cathars' Crusade " witch says- "Whenever a creature enters the battlefield under your control, put a +1/+1 counter on each creature you control. " and the Goldnight Commander that does it until end of turn- these Thallids are dangerous now~!~!
