samylove123, if the person ahead of you bid super high, it'll list a much much lower # and you just have to keep guessing as to how much to bid; it frustrates me sometimes too

It works the same way as the MAX BID on ebay. If someone bids 2,000 credits and the starting credits are 100, it will stay at 100 until someone else bids against the first bidder. It will then increase based on what you bid. So if you bid 200 credits, it will say that you've been outbid, until you bid more than their max bid of 2,000 credits. Hope that helps.
