Calabaza squash, aka Caribbean Pumpkin, is a delicious squash. Thick peeled, it lasts pretty much all winter if you keep them cool and dry.

I've just brought in mine from the field, and omg there are so many. I roast some seeds and eat them (they're pretty much like pumpkin seeds), some I'll be sharing here!

They grow pretty much like a regular, medium sized pumpkin vine, a little bushier. They like lots of space, and loose rich soil. I grow mine with radishes so they don't get grubs, and spray with dish soap after each rain so they don't get beetles. No other pesticides :)
