You are bidding on a NEW Yo Yo automatic fishing reel. It's like a mouse trap for fish! Just add a hook and bait, drop it into the water from a boat, pier, jug or whatever. It's perfect for ice fishing. The stainless steel coiled spring retracts the 60 pound test line when the bait is taken. It's pre-wound with 9'-12' of 60 pound test nylon line. Great item for any survival kit or backpacking trip. The reel is very compact, measures 2-1/2" X 3/8" and is MADE IN THE USA.

you pull the line out and drop it at the length/depth you want and set it, when the fish hooks onto your hook the reel automatically reels him in. You can set the tension on the reel. I have used it attached to a floating plastic milk can, on the end of a stick while backpacking, tied around a rock on the river in fast flowing water. I have had so much fun with this type of reel. It measures approx 2 1/2 across and is very lightweight for backpacking. I hope that answers your question if not let me know :)

That is what it is designed to do, the fish gives a tug and it reels the fish in. Its really fun to watch. as my Dad would say its the lazy way to fish :) It does not come with hooks or sinkers or bait. just the reel and line on it.
