Very Nice! My father use to "pound quarters" during WWII and sent home a set my mother wore for her wedding rings when her hands would swell, and her gold/diamonds would not fit

yea thats where i learned how to do them correctly,by researching wwII and trench art. most people just use a hammer these days and try to get a quick product out to make the money.

The outside is exposed and will tarnish but the coin surfaces will hold out. i also do silver coins if you are worried.

no they stopped making 90% silver coins. the last year was 1964 u are correct.
