Because it is real? If so, I know what you mean. I inherited it awhile back and don't want to throw it away, which would be worse. I thought if I can give it to someone who would buy one from me, they won't buy a new one. So, I do understand your sadness, but also hate having it in the closet unused. That makes me even sadder!

It's beautiful, but sad to know the animals suffered. But it's true, destroying the jacket just makes the animals' sacrifice for nothing. So in a case like that, I think I would just bless the animals for keeping me warm and tell them how thankful I am for it and chant for for their future happiness. Back in the day, wearing fur kept us alive, but now we don't need it. But I do support people who hunt humanly, thank the animal and use every bit of it. Killing for sport or just for fur is a whole different story.
