The listing, Bird of Paradise Seeds has ended.

Up for auction are 8 seeds from the rare and beautiful Strelitzia reginea Bird of Paradise. They thrive best in USDA Zones 7b-11.
First soak the Bird of Paradise seeds in a bowl of lukewarm water for between 24 and 48 hours. Afterwards, drain the water away and wrap the seeds in a damp paper towel. Place the seeds in a re-sealable plastic bag and store them in your refrigerator for a couple of weeks.

Yes. They will grow anywhere in California that has warm night time temperatures. Pretty much any ware here except for the colder regions.

They can grow indoors, and make great house plants as well.

I have this plant, but have never seen the seeds. They are as pretty as the flower. I will have ti keep and eye out for them.

I grew some yellow bird of paradise plants from seeds. They did great until my cat laid on them. I still have one growing & it's doing well. I can't wait to get more. They were easy to grow from seeds too. :)
