F & W, may I ask do the holes go all of the way through and do the key press down? I know you said it is for looks, I was just wondering if it makes any noise at all? Thank you. It's quite interesting.

The big one goes all the way down and the keys are for looks. I tryed to get it to at least blow a note but can't. So I thought its decorative. It looks as tho it was a aword

this isn't a piccolo i can tell you that because i've played one before... it seems like it's a conversation piece more than anything... from what i can see in the pictures there are places where pads should be that are missing...

my family owns the gemeinhardt flutes if you have ever heard of those kind of flutes. so i know a lot about flutes, but any way this is not a flute im sure of it. and it doesnt even work hmm very nice.

It's quite hard to get a sound out of a piccolo or flute, so it may in fact work. I have many friends who play who couldn't get a sound for the first several weeks with instruction.

It's hollow all the way thru. But the keys don't move. Kind of hard to play a song when it will play just one note. LOL so I'm guessing it's for decoration or it was a award??
