This is for the bigger ps3 this playstation is in mint condition it came with a 60 gb hard-drive but has been upgraded t0 150 gb. it works like new it has 7 games 1 controller the controller is not the factory controller it is a wired controller. i have another that i cant find at this moment but if i do it will be included also. it is not factory either but it is wireless.. cant promise i will find that but i will try.. i will not change the days and i will not change the days so don't ask. don't mean to be rude but i get tired of those questions.

these models have a habit of burning out. I had one of these and still got it. To who every gets in and this happens it is a quick fix. take it apart the 2 small silver looking boxes in it is your Cpu and upc components. you need a heat gun and heat both of these up. ( BUT KEEP THE GUN BACK A BIT) 2 MINS ON EACH. THERE IS METALIN IT THAT NEEDS TO BE MELTED BACK TOGETER. Let it sit for an hour to cool. and put new heat compound on it. It has to be for electronics on both. put it back together and it all works like new.

This Playstation has backwards compatibility. So it actually can play ps2 games. But not sure about ps1 games

all playstation 3's can play ps1 games but i think only the 1st gen can play ps2 games i could be wrong on the ps2 part

Hi "great auction!" here's how we can tell if it is the backwards campatible model, 1)first/ does it have 4 usb plugs in the front where the controllers & e.c.t. plug into, (2nd) second/ on the front on the left hand side above where the usb ports are, does the lid lift up and there are 5 different card reader slots. if this console has those input & outputs it is backwards campatible unless the processor has been changed, or when the harddrive was installed they flashed it to the newer version (o.s. operating system firm ware 3.55m or 3.35) i hope this may help? but either way this is a legit honest seller and an "awesome" auction on top of that!!! thank you! fan/watching/bidding
