These are a definite tanning necessity! Your eyes are extremely sensitive. Our salon requires all tanners to use protective goggles while tanning beds are in operation. And you should always wear eye protection while tanning! I have a tiny black dot in the field of vision in my left eye from dropping my protective goggles once while checking for a flickering bulb in a tanning bed. Even if your eyes are closed you can still burn or damage your eye/vision. Once the damage has been done it is irreversable. Use care and protect your eyes while tanning.

NOTE: The booth will be a bit brighter with these goggles than it would be with the standard tanning goggles that have the tiny holes, as these are completely translucent, other than the hot pink color. Fully compliant with U.S. Federal Tanning Regulation performance standards for sunlamp products.
