no as they are store bought and taking them apart will ruin them. But They can be made to smell like catnip very easily and I can do that for the winner if they want me to.

Rascal has a few toys of her own but doesn't like to share and then we have 2 other cats OJ & Buddy who are better off kept apart as much as possible even though they're outdoor cats so we thought we'd try and get OJ something to play with, he seems to think Buddy wants him and she hates it when he gets too close but he's a hard headed boy who is love struck at the sight of any female. He's been neutered recently so hopefully he'll get over some of his girl crazy behavior. Buddy is not the sort of girl who wants a companion, she is content being a loner for the most part with a little attention from us but she lets it be known when she's had enough attention. OJ loves to be groomed but that only holds his attention for a short time.

Rascal loves to sit and talk through the screen door at him and sniff noses but since she's not spayed yet and we can only afford to do it one cat at a time it was decided that because 1 we don't want kittens( shelters are too full of kittens) and we can't afford more cats right now and 2 Buddy hated it when he'd try to jump her. We didn't want any cat fights so was easiest and cheapest to get him fixed first and see if that cools jets down. Its too hot for him to do much wandering right now so he's content to stay in the shade. We hated to have to do it to him but can't afford vet bills caused by cat fights that could be avoided.
