I normally start all of mine out at 100 - 150 and most bidders will naturally bid up auctions if there is value. I have started out comics at 100 - and had a few end 2000 or higher. Also, free shipping is the key if you can afford to absord those costs.

That's not a high staring bid,considering the comic is recently current,and prolly worth about 3 dollars,Although will be watching^_^...

I also think it's a reasonable starting price. They don't have to bid on it if they don't want it, and for them, it's free. Especially if it's a new person getting it. They get 500 points just for signing up. Beggars can't be choosers. I asked 400 for my comic book, and it's not even Superman. What was the original price of the comic book when it was new.
