Sharp's YO-170 personal information organizer offers 128 KB of memory in a 4.1-ounce package.

Small enough to fit in your hand, it features a five-line display with 19 characters per line and a back-light for easy viewing. Functions include:
- three telephone directories
- a scheduler
- a note-taking feature
- an expense function
- standard and conversion calculators

It also includes a secret/password function to keep your information safe. Sharp offers an optional PC link for backup and migration.

This is a nice, handy item for keeping track of your most important information. While you'll have to manually input the information, you can put this organizer into a safety deposit box to ensure that your most critical data is always secure. The long life of the memory backup battery (~ 5 years) will ensure that sitting idle in a safety deposit box won't result in a data loss.

You'll need to replace the batteries: a memory backup battery and an operating battery. The memory backup battery lasts for approximately 5 years, and the operating battery about 1200 of normal use. Details are in the Manual about how to properly replace the batteries so that no information is lost (be sure to read this!).
