Thank you mazsdps for your comment. Thanks too for fanning and watching. Fanned right back. It is a lovely piece and emits a peaceful& joyful feeling when filled with cut flowers.
This piece is amazing pretty, I love it,, I hope I get but I wish you have much more credits than I'm able to bid, you deserve it, this piece is very unique..F/W
Just wondering if you bought this anywhere in or near Sullivan County as it sure looks like my great-grandmother's which I sold to a antiques dealer in Parksville back in 1994. Yes, it is very old then because she died in 1956, my 93 year old Mom remembers her grandmother telling her it was very, very old back when Mom was young. Back in 1994, I got about $12-$15 for it and I can't imagine how much it was sold for back then, so NOW, you certainly should get a pretty penny for it. I swear it looks exactly like the one that was in my family all those years! Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi, No this has been in our family forever. It was given to my Grandmother by her brother in the late 1890's.Thanks for your question and your comments.

Thank you so much cacconcy for your lovely comment. I'm a fan of yours too! It is different and I remember it being filled with brightly cut fresh flowers when I would visit my Grandmother. I loved everything she had. It made my visits so very special.
Hi Sue42. My Mom who was born in 1923 told me my Grandmother was given this in the late 1890's from her brother Fred who lived in San Deigo California. He owned Fogerty Oil. My Grandmother would go and visit him in the summers from NY. Hope that helps some?
Hi gamer88220. No I haven't had it appraised. Most of my stuff just sits around and gathers dust until I decide to part with it. This is really old and it needs to find a new home.
