golden glove winner on multiple occasions and his card IS SO FREAKING UNDERATED and within the last 10 years of collecting has his card seen more of an increase than 2% Mark Mcgwire's 85 topps rookie was 10 times that of tony gwynn and look what happen to Mcgwire! sad but will be watching and bidding.

Reality is that fans love the HR! Owners pay players who hit them and fans pay to watch them! That is why speadsters like Drew Stubbs try to pop 30 HRs and struggle when he could hit for contact and drag bunt to a .310 average only to get paid a fraction of a slugger. You want a case in point look at what the Cubs threw at Soriano in hopes he would continue to slug it out. Watching the auction as Tony is one of my favs of all time.
