I love Blue Star Sapphires. I would like to know if this stone is natural or lab created. Fanned and watching for now.

The stone is a real, cabochan-cut sapphire, that was purchased from a reputable jeweler who had it made into a ring. I sold the gold and because the stone is so pretty, I kept it. I have no idea, though, how the star is made, mother-nature or otherwise. I know some stars occur naturally and some are added. I just know that the star is very pretty and is mesmerizing when you see it, as it seems to always be following directions as it is moved.

They are incredible. The star is partly her nature and part how it is cut. I had one in a simple setting that I loved so much more than my $3,000 diamond wedding ring. Unfortunatelyy ring was stolen, so I've been looking to replace it. A loose stone is the perfect opportunity to have the ring made and recreated. The best stone are natural, cut in this shape and have no treatment to them

I had it in a rin, with 4 diamond accents that twenty years ago cost $250, was set in 14kt white gold. The transmission in our car went out, so I sold the gold, kept the sapphire and diamonds.I hated to do it, but sometimes you just have to do things to help out. I was working back then, but now am partially disabled and retired. I think you will find this is a very nice stone.

Gorgeous star sapphire. I have a mint green Lindy star (lab created, I think) that I just love. Already a fan. Watching and bidding, although I don't think I have enough credits to win.

OOOOhhhh, I only wish, only have the champagne ones in my ears and in my wedding ring. I have one small (Ithink black one about 2mm in size), I don't think it has good color, though. I do have some white accent diamonds, you can almost wee with the naked eye and a few bigger ones that I am keeping. I have liquidated most of my collection, have a few odds and ends of stones left, but I am not sure what they are, sorry.

Thank you so much! I wish I had more of these to share, I had an extensive collection of stones, let my sons, their wives and my grandson pick ones they wanted to keep and now I'm offering some of the rest to share with my auction friends. I hope someone will love this stone as much as I do.

My engagement ring is a blue diamond solitaire with white accents. Always on the lookout for more blues! Wedding ring is a shadow band that will be all blue. Have to have it custom made because my engagment ring isn't flat on the bottom, and the ring we bought to go with it (which we got first) doesn't look right. So, we're using the blues from the wedding band we bought and will need to get 2 blue princess cuts in addition to the ones we already have. Fun looking for them, but will probably have to go through a jeweler, who marks them up a bunch!

I, too, love blue stones, they are my favorites. The trouble is that I like red, white, blue and green stones best, not into oranges and citrines, though. Good luck on finding what it is that you are looking for.
