If it gets over 350 credits I will ship for free to US!!! WELL worth the bid. I bought this for $300 and it has well over $400 worth of music on it! ($700 value minus the repair so you can sync and add music =$100 and I say it is worth $600) I will miss it - but I also like Listia.

Is it the hard drive that is bad,I notice that on some of the smaller gig models your repair folks reccomend installing flash memory in place of the hard drive.

I don't think so. It charges fine and plays fine. I have a feelling it is in the connector. They (repair co) estimate it to cost 50 to 100 to fix plus shipping.

No. I found a place online that said they can fix it for 50 to 100 dollars. It does play all the music/ playlists that are on it and it does charge fine. I have a lot of music on it - just may not be your type.
