Yes, I live in South Bend IN. I was born at the air force base and I think we lived there maybe a year or two. My dad was stationed their with the Army. It is hot here too.

I received this from a friend who said it tastes just like the Butterbeer served at the park. I haven't been there yet to compare but will be going in a few weeks.

It does not involve real beer or any alcohol.

In the recipe I have it includes rum extract. Rum extract usually contains a small amount of alcohol, although alcohol-free versions are also available. I use the alcohol-free version. It's your choice on the type of rum extract you prefer to use.
