The listing, Vintage pearl necklace has ended.

I love this necklace, but don't wear jewelry anymore, so.... free to a good home! This necklace is knotted between each pearl, something seldom done today! These are not real pearls, but they do look quite real! Has a great clasp that does not let go!

well, I don't have teeth to test them on, but when I rubbed them together, they were smooth, so yes, they are fake.... but still very pretty!

according to what I have learned, if they are smooth when rubbed together (or against teeth), they are not real. Real pearls are a little rough.

not for certain, the woman I got it from said she believed it was from the early 1900's... 30's or 40's. She is a jewelry maker and based her opinion on the clasp.
