The listing, You SCORE!!! Too Small For Even Molly (doesn't she look disappointed?), Pink Doggie Shirt has ended.
It says Medium, but it was too snug for my little Molly, a shih tzu. What's a Mother to Do? Offer it Up on Listia, I suppose... So, all you tiny dog owners, now its your shot. I usually get to questions and comments within twelve to twenty-four hours. Thanks for takin' a peek.
Questions & Comments
i bought the same t-shirt for my poodle at the dollar store $1.00 and you want 234 credits come on now
I saw them there too! What a coincidence..... however, that was after I got this one from a Listian. I think I bid at least double than, but I WILL check and let you know. I don't know how you got your credits, jeannie, but I got mine by giving stuff away that I didn't want or need, in order to get stuff I could use. My reputation is as a Listian who is responsible, equitable, generous and supports the community and its mission. I have offered free shipping on most all my auctions...... so, tell me, what does "come on now," really mean?
Awesome auction and for those of us that DONT have dollar stores, petsmart, or petland around us, we love these and will bid for 234 credits!!! I've bought a few of these shirts off listia and the small runs like and xsmall. I have a 9lb chi, do you think this medium will fit her?
Well, 9lbs., huh? Molly is about 13, but every pound at that size makes a huge difference. Besides, Molly was in a "fluffy" stage when I tried to put it over her head. I guess it's gonna be a crap-shoot..... There is one thing that, at least for me, would tip the scales in favor of bidding..... it's FREEEEEE!!!!!!! I appreciate your taking the time to comment. Best of luck if you choose to gamble on this auction.
Thanks for asking, shytoyawhitfield! The brand is Paws'n' Claws. I goggled the name, trying to find this shirt. I found something similar, but it was on a not well-kept site. My guess is that this tiny garment was probably crafted with several thousand others, one day, in a crowded and dim sweatshop in the Middle-east or Far-East, by the knobby arthritic hands of someone's great grandmother or the once tender hands of school-aged children..... who must forsake their education, their hope for equity in their own society by working a sun up to sundown manual labor gig to put food in their own mouths and buy cigarettes for their father so he won't pimp-out their mother. And your little critter, too, can proudly parade around in this "Poverty by Proximity" garment..Just think (but not too hard), your fur-baby can be the first to cruise the block in a shirt figuratively untouched by upper caste hands....... why, it may have even blessed by one of Mother Thesea's Little Sisters of the Poor in Calcutta. We may never know...... Don't ja just love a mystery? And imagine, your canine companion could be cruisin' in this adorable and mysterious, be-speckled petal-pink shirt! Last but definitely not least, It's FREEEEEEE fro you to me! Isn't Listia a Marvel? (I really gotta get out more)
I agree with you about Listia. I find that their re things that I would not buy or have to save up for like cords and connectors, cell accessories, books (how I love books!) and collectibles.... and let's not forget human and fur baby stuff! I think that it's safe to say that waaaaay too many Americans are cash-strapped these days, just as our fore-fathers (and mothers) were so many times in history. And what did they do? They bartered! It's not just what "poor" people do, it's what savvy business people do. We definitely have to get away from that mentality. Thanks for your comment..... and Happy Freedom Day!
