This Stuff is Free Too:
Description

The listing, iPod FM transmitter w/ bonus remote has ended.

Exactly what the title says. Used maybe 10 times max.

Small screen still has plastic covering on it. It works with most iPods.

I used it with my iPod touch and the remote worked for changing tracks but not for volume. I think just because it was a touch.

I *think* remote volume control will work with other iPod models. I can not guarantee it.

The FM little console lets you pick your station so you are not limited to 3 or 4 like most.

It's very light, last tested this morning. I will NOT accept refund requests once sent if you are complaining about the remote. I have mentioned that it only worked for tracks but i found myself changing tracks with the ipod itself instead of remote. It's easier.

Remember, you are bidding on the transmitter. The remote is like a bonus that may or may not work.

please read all before bidding thanks!!!

Is that a car charger/adapter with it? How does this work?

Yes that is a car adapter. If you look at it, one end goes into your lighter in the car and the other end connects to the small console piece.

That little piece has a + and - button to select a station you want to use and it will display the station on it.

Give me a few hours and i will take a pic with it on and also what it looks like connected so it makes more sense. =)

Thanks for your patience on the reply, was out for the holiday.

I am trying to update this listing with some more pics of it connected and a better description, but there seems to be some sort of glitch. I have emailed Listia! so I am hoping that it will be resolved shortly.

As far as how it works, it connects via the cigarette lighter/outlet in your car. If you look at it, one end goes into your lighter in the car and the other end connects to the small console piece.

That little piece has a + and - button to select a station you want to use and it will display the station on it. Set your car radio to whatever station you have put on the small console and whatever is playing on your iPod will be transmitted.

The remote control has buttons for volume, track changing, pause, stop, power, shuffle & mute. I will update when I am able to with pics so you can see better.

Thanks!

Good question. I believe just transmit because when I had used it my battery would decrease. I will check though and post up a reply.

Thanks!

So if you don't plug it into the car, it won't work, right?

actually you would think so, but no. it worked for me when it was not plugged in too. =) dont know how long it would last though before the little console thing needed charging again. this is as far as a car goes.

never tried on a regular stereo. i packed it up already else i would test that too. good idea and question
