From each side of the armpit. Right where that seam is going across the middle.

It's about 16 1/2 - 17 inches. It's hard to get an exact measurement because the back has some elasticity to it, so it can stretch to be a bit bigger than even the 17 inches I measured when not stretched. I hope that helps. : )
