Yes, I do have a key. It's not the original key on the OEM copy, as that has been lost.

The installation of Windows will be successful and be validated by Microsoft.

COA is a Certificate of Authenticity. These are the stickers you find on storebought computers such as HP or Dell which - in addition to providing that authentic seal - provides the Windows product key used to activate the copy of Windows installed on a particular system.

For all others asking whether it's a key or COA: This will come with a product key, used to activate Windows on whichever PC you install it on. Laptops and retail PCs are what come with a COA sticker. Bidders, do yourselves a favor and do some quick research on Windows keys, COAs, differences between OEM and retail versions and what it means to have either a 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit version. I'm not saying that to be rude, just it will help you in the long run.

Thanks, And sorry to everyone for my slow replies. I have to constantly ask my boyfriend for the information, because I don't want to give you all false information.

I do have a question - if this has never been opened, then how was the key lost? The activation key is normally kept on the inside of the packaging.

My boyfriend posted that response. All I know is that on the back the "certificate of authenticity" is gone. I will post a picture.

Nice auction. Is this a retail or OEM copy? If OEM, is this 32 or 64-bit?

It is an OEM copy, and it is a 64 bit service pack 1, Windows 7 Professional.

The Certificate of Authenticity has been lost, there is another legitimate key.

The installation of Windows will work properly and Microsoft will see it as a valid copy.
